Nina Campbell Woodsford Shoot Autumn 2012

Nina Campbell Woodsford Shoot Autumn 2012. archie-and-theo

Nina Campbell found inspiration for the new WOODSFORD collection in the rich heritage of English stately homes and gardens, so it was apt that the collection of fabrics, wallpapers and trimmings were photographed at the beautiful Mount Harry House located in Offham in the heart of the South Downs.

The shoot took place this May, the display and photography team were lucky to find a window of sunshine, with five days of perfect weather.

Mount Harry House, owned byTim Renton, Baron Renton of Mount Harry, was built in the 1930's. The architectural details in the house such as the magnificent sweeping staircase and elegant sash windows, along with beautiful pieces of furniture and decorative objet acted as a perfect backdrop to the Woodsford fabrics and wallpapers.

Nina's dogs Archie and Theo also came along to the shoot, and made themselves quite at home in the grand entrance hall.

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather the team were also able to shoot outside, a picnic table and impromptu tea-party were put together with delicious cakes bought locally in Ditchling.

Mount Harry House also hosts a wonderful potting shed, with curved glass, one of the first of its kind to be built. Although not a conventional location for wallpaper, the display team could not resist the beautiful lines, and hung the lengths of Wilmington featuring painterly scrolls and Aubourn with bunches of bluebells.
