TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The Osborne & Little collections include a wide variety of products which combine creative design with the high specifications required for commercial environments. These include Trevira CS, blackout curtaining, outdoor and wide-width fabrics as well as a comprehensive choice of high-performance upholstery fabrics. Osborne & Little wallpaper collections include non-woven, vinyl and wide-width base papers.

FLAMMABILITY

Many of our contract products are flame retardant. Trevira CS and inherently FR products reach internationally recognised standards such as UK BS 5867 Part 2 Type B & C Curtain, BS 7175 Bedcovers & BS 5852 Source (Crib) 5 Upholstery; France NFP92 503-505 (M1); Germany DIN 4102 (B1); Italy UNI 9175 (Classe Uno), International Maritime Organisation (IMO) FTP Code Part 7,8 & 9 Curtain, Upholstery &  Bedding, USA NFPA 701 Test 1 Drapery and USA NFPA 260 Upholstery.

FLAMMABILITY TREATMENT

We can arrange FR treatment for many fabrics to meet BS5867 Part 2 Type B for curtaining, BS7175 for bedcovers and BS5852 Part 2 Source 5 for contract upholstery.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

All our fabrics are tested for usage through BS EN ISO 12947-2 Abrasion and BS EN ISO 13937-3 Wing Rip with contract fabrics reaching a severe contract rating in excess of 40,000 rubs and 25 Newtons.

SPECIAL TREATMENTS

We can arrange stain repellent treatments for many of our fabrics.

BLACKOUT FABRICS

We offer FR blackout fabric for curtaining which has been tested for UV transmission.

OUTDOOR FABRICS

Outdoor fabrics are stain and mildew resistant and have excellent light fastness.

CONTRACT WALLPAPER

Our wallpapers reach the highest EU fire rating; EN15102 / EN13501 B SI, do. In addition, our non-woven and vinyl base papers offer further beneficial durable qualities.
